Are we allowed to use the video "Understanding the AT Act" from the ATAP website in presentations? If so, how can we download it in order to embed it into a PowerPoint without YouTube Premium?

Here is the YouTube link for the video https://youtu.be/ErKczlJlrkk?si=NtO8Zw-zP-ds2O08 . You can use the link or download it. I hope that helps!

Thank you Kim. When I try to download it tells me I need "YouTube Premium" which I do not have.

Hi Jamie - This is what I found out.

Unfortunately, you cannot directly make your videos downloadable from your YouTube channel for all viewers. YouTube does not offer a universal "download" button for every video due to copyright and content protection concerns. However, here are the available options and workarounds:

      1. YouTube Premium:

      • For Viewers: YouTube Premium subscribers have the option to download videos for offline viewing within the YouTube app. This is the official and intended way for users to download videos.
      • Limitations: These downloads are only accessible within the YouTube app and cannot be transferred or used outside the platform.

      2. Third-Party Apps and Websites:

      • Availability: Numerous third-party apps and websites claim to download YouTube videos.
      • Caution: Using these methods may violate YouTube's terms of service and could expose you to security risks (malware, viruses). Some may also infringe on copyright laws.
      • Examples: Some of the search results mention tools like 4K Video Downloader, Video DownloadHelper, and others.

Would it be possible to just use the link directly to YouTube and use it from there? I know you can embed the link in a PowerPoint - but, if you are presenting online, make sure your settings are set to play the audio from the presentation.
