AAC User Groups and Communities

One of the school districts in Austin is wanting to start an and AAC users group but with a more broad community application to include adult AAC users as well as professionals, care givers, and support organizations.

Does anyone have existing examples, sample guidelines/procedures/etc. to avoid them having to reinvent the wheel?
