Useful Life Policy for Devices

Good afternoon. We are going to be reviewing and updating our policies this new calendar year. Our Internal Auditor would like us to have a "Useful Life Policy" for our devices. The idea is this will help us if an item is lost or stolen to determine next steps. Do any of you have such a policy?
